3tr. This is a collection of objects made in variations of red clays and terracottas. The state of a body is the central theme here. The rich red and maroon of the clay in its monolithic permanence sits as the warm (and frigid) folds of flesh, motherhood and masculinity. Each piece brings with it a calm and silence, a stillness that captures the grief and frustration encased in the body, quietly ripping away, while also showcasing a peaceful state of having prevailed, of pristine meditation. The beauty of each body is the beauty of this experience.
